Reading Forms : A Site-Specific Exhibition by Helen Gallogly

Friday 2nd – Saturday 31st May 2025

Innerpeffray Library is the location for a site-specific project, ‘Reading Forms’. A series of printed textile sculptures by locally-based artist Helen Gallogly will display new configurations of the functional archival objects used to study the rare books at Innerpeffray. Narratives printed across the forms will discuss ideas of perspective, place and relevance. A series of free events and artist-led tours of the exhibition will take place throughout the month, see listing below for dates and tickets. Additionally, it is free to visit the exhibition during the Library’s opening hours, and visitors can self-guide using a brochure provided. If visitors wish to also include a tour of the Library collections, they should visit the reception to purchase a ticket.
